verse 18. And now with today's study, here's Pastor Chuck. In writing to the Corinthians in his

second epistle, Paul said, we know that when this earthly tent, our body is dissolved.

That we have a building of God

that is not made with hands,

that is eternal in the heavens.

So then we who are living in these bodies

do often groan earnestly desiring to be freed from the body.

Not that we would be unembodied spirits, not that we would be naked, but that we might be clothed upon with the body which is from heaven.

For we know that as long as we are living in this body, we are absent from the Lord,

but we would choose rather to be absent from this body and to be present with the Lord.

Therefore we labor that whether present or absent would be accepted of him.
