Hi, I'm Gary Steerman, and I have across the table from me an author, his name is Tim Chafey,

and he's written a book called Fallen, and we're going to talk about fallen angels and a whole lot more right Tim that's right

Gary thanks for having me on it's a privilege it's a privilege to have you here because this book is

an example of how to do deep research and you've done a lot of research on the sons of God and

the Nephilim and the Bible and I think in the days in which we live,

people are coming up with a lot of questions about that. And maybe a few decades ago,

Christians didn't look that deeply into the Bible on this subject. I think that's true.

I think part of that is probably due to the rise of the internet and social media.

You're able to find materials that you never would have been able to find before.

And so there's more books being written. Unfortunately, a lot of times I think they focus on the fantastical or the sensational rather than just a detailed biblical study on the topic, which is what I wanted to do.

But yeah, the internet has allowed us to realize there are a lot of other people who think about these weird things like I do,

and they want to know about it too.

And whereas before, publishers were like, that's not going to sell.

We don't need to do that.

But the Bible talks about this subject quite a bit,

and so there are a lot of questions about it. Well, in Genesis 6, the sons of God came into the

daughters of men, took wives, and it's a very simple statement. Not much to it. No details,

but it raises a multitude of questions. And in a way, that's what your book is

all about, right? That's right. Yeah. So the first half of the book is all about who are those

sons of God, because that is a debated topic within the church. And then the second half is who

are the Nephilim. Okay, who are those sons of God? Now, that's a huge question. And I'm thinking of a lot of TV I've seen lately, speculating on ancient peoples and ancient mythology and linking it to maybe some of the UFO appearances and saying they're back.
