Ashven, and today we are discussing The Blob from 1988, directed by Chuck Russell, written by

Chuck Russell, and Frank Deribont, starring Kevin Dillon, Shawnee Smith, Donovan Leach, Jeffrey DeMun, and Candy Clark.

In this remake of the 1958 film of the same name, a gelatinous blob crash lands on Earth

and starts consuming the citizens of a small town. If you're new to the show, we're going to discuss

some spoiler-free background info on the movie for the first 15 minutes or so.

But after that, we'll play some transition music and switch into spoiler mode where we will walk through the plot in detail.

So if you haven't seen this movie, go watch it before you hear that transition music or maybe right after you hear that transition music so you don't get spoilers. I don't think it's streaming anywhere, but it's a rental from the internet
