Hey, this is Beth.

Listen, what we live for at Living Proof is to serve people, the Word of God.

We base our ministry on Hebrews 412 that tells us that the Word is alive and active.

We pray this message is going to serve you in some way today and that God

is going to speak through it. Thank you so much for giving us this privilege. To study

blessing at all, if we are going to understand the baraka, remember, the baraka, the blessing,

the blessing, we are tying back to the Hebrew scriptures because that's the basis.

When Paul speaks to us out of Ephesians chapter one about our blessed estate, he's speaking baraka

over us, that we have the blessing of God on us. So we can't study the blessing without

number six, because this is the priestly blessing. And I want to read it to you, and then I want

to talk to you about it, because I have been so fascinated. This was one of these times in study.

See, I never know if this is going to

translate to you. Only the Holy Spirit can do it. But I nearly had to get up and stand to my feet

when I was studying this. It hit me so profoundly. And I pray it's going to with somebody in this room as well.

Number six, 22 through 27. The Lord spoke to Moses saying, speak to Aaron and his son saying, thus you shall bless the people

of Israel. You shall say to them, hold right there for just a moment. Because we're about to have

proof that these kind of sanctioned liturgical prayers, so to speak, have power. And the reason why I want to

pull that out is because we so often, especially in my part of the world, we believe that prayer

is most powerful when it is just spontaneous. And I love that.

It's by far, I mean, it would be 95% of what I practice,

that it's spontaneous praying.
