0:44.8	level they do know that it comes from manuscripts and they probably know that there are

0:53.0	But what they might not know is not every single manuscript was exactly alike.
0:59.0	And finding the ones that are closer to the source,
1:02.0	oftentimes those are the oldest manuscripts, even the best
1:06.5	manuscripts, and in fact several text critics have pointed out that the further back
1:10.3	you go the more variation you get, which is not what you would expect if there was
1:15.6	this word of God that was carefully preserved you would expect that like oh down the
1:19.8	lines and people snuck some things in but if if you go to the very beginnings, you see a lot of textual variation.
