in your lifetime? Who talk a good talk? But don't follow through. I mean, they sound

very devoted to something. But then you see in their life, they don't live consistent

with that spoken devotion. Today, we're going to be looking at what true devotion really

This is continuing in the situation where Abraham had taken Isaac up on a mountain to sacrifice

him at God's instruction. And God was testing his faith, enabling him to see for himself

that his faith was genuine and devoted. And God provided a different sacrifice and spared

his son. And we pick up in verse 50, it says, the angel of the Lord called to Abraham

a second time from heaven and said, by myself, I have sworn declares the Lord, because

you have done this and not withheld your son, your only son. I will surely bless you.

And I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that's

on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies. And in your

offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.
