Welcome back to another edition of The Tear Down.

My name is Jeff Gluck, along with my coworker, Jordan Bianchi.

We are motorsports writers for the athletic and a tough week here in the NASCAR industry with loss of our couple of our friends.

Al Pierce and John Edwards,

and I'm certainly going to be talking about that a little bit later in the show.

But of course, as they would want us to do,

spending their entire careers in the NASCAR industry,

we will talk about the race first and get into all that we watched today at Bristol.

Jordan is live at Bristol.

And that was, I'm trying to think of how, you know what, Jordan, why don't you start about what you thought of this race?

I don't know.

I have mixed emotions.

And actually, I think Jeff Gordon summarized it the best.

Where I asked him, I said, do you prefer what we had last year at this Bristol where high tire wear,

you know, super conservative, guys said to be super conservative and had to pit all the time and we're

going slower or do you prefer this where there wasn't as much tire wear? It was a butt kicking.

Guy struggled to pass. What would you

prefer? And his answer was going, like, I, he wasn't happy with today's race. He wanted to see more

tire wear. He also said he didn't want what he saw last year. And so essentially, he wanted

something in the middle. And that's where I fall on this,
