Go with me, please, to the book of Genesis.

Let's look at again our text and verses we've looked at.

Now, if you have not been with us on the previous parts of this new series we're into now,

the title of it is The Blame Game.

The Blame Game. And we began in Genesis, I believe this is our third series, is the blame game. The blame game.

And let's remind ourselves in Genesis 3 and verse 12, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and took of the forbidden fruit, immediately they were aware

that they were naked and they were afraid and they were ashamed and they tried to hide themselves.

They tried to cover themselves, Not just, you know, the covering

themselves physically happened, but there was more than that. They're trying to cover and hide

what they did. In Genesis 3, if you'll notice there, let me just back up to verse 9, the Lord called to Adam,

and he said, where are you?

And let me just remind you about something here.

Did God ask him where he was because he couldn't find him?

Because he didn't know where he was? No. You'll find, the

Lord does this often. He asks questions that he already knows the answer to, but it's important

for you to give the right response. How you respond to the question he already knows the answer to determines how he's going to deal with you

it's not that he's looking for the answer your and my response determines how we're going to be

dealt with because he's not controlling our wills now this is something that some people don't even believe.

They believe that God has already predetermined everything.

And if that's true, there's really no choice in the matter.

But you'll find that the Lord says things like this.
