Would you turn with me this evening to the book of Genesis, the third chapter,

and I'm thinking we will introduce tonight a new series.

And, um... we will introduce tonight a new series and um this is something that's been on my heart for some time now and i know there are real answers here so let's read the the passage and get right into it.

This third chapter

is where it all

went wrong.

God had made

everything. He created the heavens

and the earth. He created the trees and the plants, he created

the fish of the sea and the whales, he created all the cattle, and he created man.

And he created a beautiful garden, and he put the man and the woman in the garden, and it was literally paradise.

There was no curse.

There was no evil.

And it was to last in perpetuity.

It was to never end.

There was no death. There was never end. There was no death.

There was no dying.

There was no sorrow.

There was no crying.

There was no tragedy.

It's hard for us to imagine.

But that's how it was.
