about the 2002 horror film Black Phone, directed by Scott

Derrickson, written by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, and starring Mason Tames,

Madeline McGraw, Jeremy Davies, and Ethan Hawke. In this film, a young boy is kidnapped

and held captive by an abductor known as the grabber

and received some assistance through a disconnected phone in the room.

claustrophobia or being kidnapped or abducted?

Yeah, sure.

I mean, they both are much bigger movies than just being stuck in a room.

You know, that's the core of them, somebody's stuck in a room, but they expand the world from there.

Yeah, yeah, they do like more with that premise.
