Welcome back to another edition of the BKMC, a supplemental PSO podcast where we take one film and rip it to shred.

Actually, no.

We unpack a film for discussion. Yeah, I'm actually loving these because, yeah, it's been interesting because it's not just what we like or, you know, people agreeing with us. So it's good.

Yeah, no, it's good. And this week's film is The Greatest Showman in 2017, starring Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, and Dea Zach

Ephron, directed by Michael Gracie, and we have thoughts.

I want to start off by saying, when I picked the four films for this month and three of the films I have seen, two of the

films you have seen, but the one film neither one of us had seen was this one, the greatest

showman.

And I also picked it because the other films that we chose for this month, I mostly like.

I don't have a lot of critical things to say about them

because I enjoy those films. But this film, I picked it because I thought I was going to hate it.

And I thought, well, we should, you know, we shouldn't just do movies that we love. We should talk about

movies that we don't like and why we don't like them, etc. But a funny thing happened

in my viewing of this, and I think the same thing happened with you. I did not change my mind.

The film did not change my mind about what I assumed were the flaws going into it. All of the

flaws were there and were evident.

But at the end of the day, those songs work.

And because those songs work, the film works,
