Hello Kittens, welcome back to another edition of the BKMC, a supplemental edition of our PSO,

where we take one film per week and look at it and rip it to shreds and give you all our thoughts about it and write a review of it and do a little 15 to 20 minute podcast about it. This week's film is Momento, I almost said Momento. Memento by Christopher Nolan, director Christopher Nolan, starring Guy Pearce and Carrie Ann Moss and Joe Pantleiano from the year 2000.

She's gorgeous, by the way.

Yeah, she's so hot in this movie. I think she's actually hotter in this movie than she is in The Matrix, maybe because she's playing such a bad girl.

I just couldn't stop looking at her. She's absolutely gorgeous in this movie.

So, yeah, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt. I'm just doing the intro.

So we, I chose this film. We chose this, well, actually I chose this film. I chose the first four.

But we will, we are doing a sort of team effort here in future films. But for the first four, I did choose those first four films.

But I agreed.

Yeah, yeah.

And I wanted a different, you know, different genres, different styles, different eras.

And we had just done Nouvelle Vague last week, which came out last year, and it was a black and white film entirely in French.

So I was like, let's do something from turn to the century. Let's do something with more of a

crime thriller aspect to it, because we haven't done that yet. And when I think turn to the

century and I think crime thriller, I mean, Memento is one of probably the top ten that would

come to mind, like L.A. Confidential and the usual suspects and that sort of thing.

I have to say Nouvelle Vag, just about Nouvelle Vague. I was happy with the comments that we got and the response that we got. My point is that I'm actually enjoying the fact that it's not all movies that everyone likes or, you know,

even I was a little reluctant to watch some of the movies.

My point is that it's nice to, you know, watch something that you might not think is great

or it's not, wouldn't be your first choice.
