And let me say, I am grateful for the internet as a tool for evangelism and spiritual formation.

I'm grateful for this alternative, not out of preference, but necessity. But let me say this.

I know it can be hard sometimes to focus on just a talking head for a few minutes, but I want you to really zero in on us here. Not so much because of me, but because of this. We are at today,

ground zero of the most influential moment in human history. Tom Holland, the historian,

not Spider-Man, called this moment we're about to look at the depth charge. When there's an

explosion under the ocean, you may not see that event,

but the ripples will go for miles and miles. And he called this historic moment, that event

that you may not see, but we are all living in the wake historically and socially of this

great event. You're living in it, whether you know it or not. What we're witnessing today

is the birth of the Christian church. Now, some of you go, is that the most important thing?

Well, Christianity is so common right now, people think it's normal, and it is certainly not

normal. One church history book entitled, The History of the Church, The Triumph of the Meek.

Which if you think about that, triumphing is not something that meek people normally do.
