My name is Pastor Mark. We're so honored to have you. And from my family and our church family,

if you're a guest, we sure love you, and it's a great honor to have you join us for this Christmas season.

It's my great honor and joy to teach you God's word today. And we're going to talk about

Jesus Christ, if that's all right. We're here to celebrate the birthday of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

My sermon title today is Christmas has always been a season of anticipation. How many of you've got

kids or grandkids? The anticipation has begun,

amen? I'm now a grandpa. I've got five grandchildren, beautiful, wonderful, and one in the womb

on the way. And one thing that is great about having little ones around the holidays,

they don't totally understand time. So every day, as Christmas approaches, they are asking, is today the day?

They have this sense of expectation and anticipation. And this has been true of Christmas from
