Wendy McClendon Covey, and the title is The Birds and the Bees. The Birds and the Bees.

You know, I never got that talk. I never got that birds and the bees talk.

Do you know what I mean?

I got all my information from the Brady Bunch,

which is complicated, because, as you know,

we never really heard about Mike and Carol's previous spouses.

Do you know what I mean?

You don't know about what Mr. and Mrs. Brady, what happened before they all lived together. And I didn't understand their living arrangement, you know, there were so many kids. I mean, I'm the youngest of six. So I'm from six kids, too, but we had a toilet in the bathroom. You know what I mean? In the Brady Bunch, there was no toilet in the bathroom. Remember that? Now, as many of you guys know, I do have a young daughter. She's nine.

And she watches the Brady Bunch all the time. We have them all on DVD. It's fabulous. But I plan to give her more information about the birds and the bees. And we are like, right now we're on like the precipice of this talk. I mean, she's only nine, but, you know, I did start reading her, like, the body books about the changes that she's going through and that she's going to go through. But that's not the birds and the bees talk. Do you know what I mean? This is like the first talk. This is the menstruation talk. See, I didn't get that information either. What I'm going to do is I'm going to give her this talk first, and then I'll let her absorb this, and then I'll get on to the sex talk. But I definitely want to give her the information. I don't want her learning or trying to learn about sex and puberty from TV or the Internet or the playground. So, you know, I'm doing the, I'm a good mom.

That's what I'm saying. Now, Wendy McLendon Covey, she found herself in very much the same

situation as me when I grew up with no information or misinformation. And what her mother tells
