Good morning everyone and welcome back to another mornings with the masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. Good morning indeed we're

picking up with day 9 of our 21 days of discipleship devotional and the Bible app there's

a link to that in the description if you guys want to follow along with us and as always

I'm going to read the scripture then tour is going to pick up with the Divo. Let's do it. The

scripture is John chapter 9 verses 24 through 25 and it says this a second time they summoned

the man who had been blind give glory to God by telling the truth they said we know this man

is a sinner he replied whether he is a sinner or not I don't know one thing I do know I was blind

but now I see the devotional is titled the blind leading the blind and it says this

John 9 is a big chapter it holds the sixth of seven special signs we talked about on day two

the signs that point to who Jesus is and why he came on the Jewish holy day the Sabbath

Jesus gives the gift of sight to a man who had been blind all his life we get a powerful picture

of Jesus and also a representation of discipleship in the response of the formerly blind man he boldly

and unashamedly stands before the temple officials and tells what Jesus has done in his life

despite these men hurling insults at him the blind man still gives glory to God he even goes so far

as to ask if they want to be Jesus's disciples too well here's his testimony John 9 32 through 33

says ever since the world began no one has been able to open the eyes as someone born blind

if this man were not from God he couldn't have done it as a result of this statement the man

is thrown out of the temple and the officials remain blind to the truth of who Jesus is still the

man who received the miracle attempted to lead others to the miracle worker here's the thing

the greatest miracle of all is one that we all have access to and those of us who are in Christ

already received it it's the miracle of salvation remember friends we weren't just not okay
