All right, happy new year everybody.

Happy January 2nd, and got a big show for you today.

This is a fun tradition that I think we've started,

where the last two years we've gone back,

looked at the biggest stories of the previous year.

And then we also, probably in a future episode, maybe tomorrow,

look forward to what we think will be the biggest stories of 2024.

And of course, we'll have to look back now and look at the stories we thought would be the biggest stories of 23 and where those worked out as well.

So we first need to catch up however on the news that piled up over the holiday, where should we begin?

I think we should start in Phoenix because we did get to see a stretch where their three best

players were available. Bradley Beale came back, the sun's won three straight and then

Kim Durrant is dealing with it doesn't seem like a severe right hamstring issue.

He'll hopefully miss one game maybe day to day, but we have seen the sun's

something closer to full strike. Yeah they played against the blazers where

Anthony Simons has missed two straight. De Andrei Aeton didn't even travel

with the team due to this knee tendonitis.

Their backup center, Duop Reef is also out.

They did get Anthony Simon's back for that game yesterday.

But they, oh, and Tamara also did not play.

Seems like the Blazers and Sons play like every

single game. They played like four times already this season. But anyway we

did get to see Beal back. Most notable I thought was his 10 to 13 from the field performance against the magic which I watched some of over the weekend and I thought he looked very good physically in that game
