Today, you are in for a real treat because it's the end of 2023 baby and we are celebrating.

And we're going to talk about the biggest stories in the pro-life movement this year, as well as many of the wins we had.

So joining me today is our vice president of media and policy at Students for Life and

Students for Life Action, Christy Hamrick, the great Christy Hamrick.

Christy is not to be confused with Kristen, although often media reporters do confuse us.

So you never really know who KH is in a lot of things. So, Christy, you are

responsible at students for life day to day with crafting a lot of our public policy strategy,

which usually gets me in trouble with other people, by the way, getting me in trouble.

And then you're also crafting the media strategy. So you're the one talking to

the mainstream media, talking to them about the pro-life generation, what we're doing,

the pro-life movement. So you've got, you've got a handle on all of these stories. So I was thinking

about how do we recap this huge year of 2023 and all the things that happened. I knew you were my gal. So I'm going to go

month by month and I'm going to quid you on what was the biggest, give me the biggest one or

two stories that you can recall that happened in the pro-life movement that month. Are you ready?

All right, January, 2023. Well, the most exciting thing in January, especially for people like

myself that actually remember when Roe happened, was that we celebrated the March for Life

without Roe v. Wade as a death sentence over every viable

child in the womb. And that, I mean, I could cry about it now if I think about it too hard.

It's an extraordinary thing to witness. And I probably marched in 30 marches. So to be there

in Washington, D.C., it was a celebration. It was a worship service.
