Hello and welcome back to another episode of The Manifest podcast. I'm so excited to be here with

you today. If you do not know who I am, my name is Sarah Prout. I am a best-selling author,

an artist, a creative entrepreneur. I have been building creative businesses for nearly 30 years.

That's kind of a scary thought, actually. I was thinking back to all of the things that I've done in my

career and where it really started.

And many of you probably have read my books or you have seen one of my speeches or talks on

YouTube or maybe you've even seen me speak on a stage in person. And I quite often tell the story

of how I really, you know, dip my toe into the water of entrepreneurship,

which was when Hallmark, yes, the biggest greeting card company in the world, commissioned me at

14 years old, to design four gift wrap designs. And the way that that kind of eventuated,

and this isn't what today's podcast is about, but I'll just, I'll lightly, I'll lightly touch on this story. And then we will dive into today's theme. So the way that I did it was I was really bored. I was never allowed to say that in my home. I was bored on the school holidays. And I decided that I was going to create my own range,

my own line of greeting cards and gift wrap. And so I spent weeks and weeks and weeks designing

this little collection and then I went to the school library and I photocopied the designs

and I looked in the phone book and I found I think there
