Lisa is in Alaska as you listen to this episode. So we decided to do things a little bit differently today.

We're not going to do our typical episode. We're going to focus on one subject, which is coming up

soon. But Lisa, I'm just excited you're going to be in Alaska. You're taking a great trip.

I'm psyched. Well, in between recording episodes with you in advance, I was reading

Frommers' easy guide to Alaska and Cruises on Ports of Call. You know, I'm just very ready

for this trip that my, I don't know if I've ever mentioned it on the show, but in summer of

2019, my mom asked me if I wanted to go on a cruise to Alaska with her.

We have not traveled together in probably 20 years.

And now it's been 20 years.

And I'm like, sure.

And it got delayed.

I'm sure you heard that there was a global pandemic.

So the trip got delayed several times. And now it's finally happening.

So Godspeed, God willing, as you hear this, I am like sipping a margarita on a cruise ship,

about to see some frigging bald eagles and bears.
