You fold in the effort of trying to get out, and that's a disaster.

Or you can get out of surrender, Appomattock style, like Grant Gott from Lee in 1865.

Highly unlikely. I don't expect that. All I really want is for the Iranians to say,

stop killing our soldiers, stop blowing up our weapons production facilities.
