There aren't many of us these days, but I am one.

And back in 1999, I was a couple of years at a college.

I was working as a person doing some government relations type work, working for a large national company.

And I had been promoted and I was very excited.

One of the perks of getting promoted for my work was business travel.

I had not done that before and you know when you're that age

right like mid 20s you think wow like I've really made it. I'm officially in

adult now and I was very excited at the prospect. I felt like everything was

really taking off going in my direction and one day my boss said okay it's time for your first

Bore. You're gonna travel to the south and visit our company outpost there and I had

never been to the south. I had never been anywhere east of Colorado, so I was super excited.

And when he said we're going to New Orleans, I was like out of my mind excited.

Some place I had always wanted to visit, just because of the history and New Orleans

in my mind just always has this very cinematic and interesting atmosphere.
