the big, beautiful bill is navigating what looks like some big, ugly obstacles.

Yeah, that's not an overstatement. It has been a very difficult, very trying 48 hours for this piece of legislation,

and that really began when Elon Musk came out yesterday and called it a, quote, disgusting

So it all kind of went downhill from there, I would say.
