The following day, it was reported the club was for sale, a claim that owner Fara Bishiri has since denied.

So, what's going on at Everton? Who's going to replace Lampard? Will the club be sold? And will it be a

hot air coming from the area. Graham Ruthven, hello. Hello, Ryan Bailey. Yes, there is a lot

of hot air coming from Merseyside at the moment. As you mentioned, not just from Liverpool. They're not having a great season either. But I think it's kind of just the way of things in the northwest of England and the English soccer that even when Liverpool are having a poor season, Everton must have, it must be having an even even poorer season and it has been a wild week for

them. So we thought this would be a good time to ask, Everton, what are you doing? Yeah, yeah. We can

very much expand upon that because they are doing everything and nothing at the same time,

it seems, Graham, so we'll expand upon that. But to start off with Everton as a club, Graham, 119 top flight seasons behind them. They were last relegated from the top flight in 1954. Only Arsenal has been at the top longer. And it's kind of odd because they're one of those teams for me, have always been like middle of the teams for many years ago it was after villa before they sort of weren't but there's there's always that team you don't have to worry about them they're always in the middle somewhere they're just everton they're always i don't want to say making up the numbers that's a bit rude but they are a reliable part of furniture that's a good way of phrasing it, yes. And they've gone from that to, from not

standing out in any way to very much standing out for the wrong reasons. So the fans who may have

been feeling a bit like, oh, we're a bit muddling in the middle of the road, we want a bit more

excitement. Oh, here comes a new owner. Oh, here comes we're spending lots of money. This is going to

be great. Things are going to be great things
