And this week, we must turn her attention to the ongoing saga around Spanish F.A. President Luis Rubiales.

Rubiales started his journeyman playing career as a defender in 1997 before retiring in 2009. In 2010,

he became president of the Association of Spanish Footballers, and in 2018, he was elected

president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, the RFEF. One of his first actions was to

fire Spain coach Julian Lopetegi just days before the 2018

World Cup, and he's also faced corruption allegations around the staging of the Spanish

Super Cup in Saudi Arabia.

And as you're no doubt aware, Rubialis has hit international headlines for kissing Spain's

Jenny Hamoso on the lips, on stage during the World Cup medal presentation. Amoso has refuted

Rubialis' claim that the kiss was consensual. On today's show, we'll dig into what exactly

happened, what has evolved since and the chaos, folly and shame that has stemmed from this
