reporters and tries to give answers to things, but it's a bad position for him to be in because

they've got a lot of stuff that's hard to handle. And obviously, the Rooney Rule, among other things, is a disaster.

It clearly doesn't work. He knows it doesn't work. They've been trying to make it work

for 20 years and it's always the white people that get hired by the white people and it's

better than it's been, but it's not because of the Rooney rule. And if I were a black

coach in that league, I'd be insulted by the fact that they almost always have to be reminded. Hey,

you know, you got to do this, right? You can go through this pretend interview because it's good

for the black candidates to have their names associated with your pretend
