Good afternoon from Washington. I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast. We are five

days away from the IELC caucuses. The Democratic Party is anticipating its highest turnout ever,

or at least matching 2008, 2008 was the highest ever turnout for caucus of either party.

So we shall see and that turnout will tell us a lot the makeup of that turnout, whether

it's a progressive electorate or whether it's a killed Trump electorate or whatever you want to

call it. But we shall see. So what is going to happen in Iowa and more importantly, how do the

results and Iowa impact everything else down the road? This is your big what if then what? What if

then what? We are going to break it down in a big way because immediately after Iowa comes new

Hampshire Nevada, South Carolina, and then the month of March essentially decides who will be the

leading delegate person going into the convention. So that's what we're doing here today with me today

to give you your big February and March preview. My colleague and co-author of First Read NBC News

thoughtful pieces on the 2020 Democrats this cycle from what has become one of the better daily

you guys are launching and because nobody has podcasts these days. Exactly. Carrie has two now that

she has to participate in one of one for her and then this one every once in a while. That's a joy.

Yeah. The world needs more podcasts. If we have a podcast per reporter on the presidential race,

just one per reporter, one per reporter, I think caucus goers should have their own podcast.

I would listen to numerous caucus goers podcasts. Are we sure they don't? I think probably some of

them do. But yeah, it's called it has been radi Atlantic. We are relaunching it for the election.

We're calling it the ticket and obviously that ticket six sixty under it. If you want we can have
