Summary

Hola.I think that by now you will have seen the disgraceful images from Barcelona, the city I call home, which depict the police brutality suffered by many of those citizens who only wished to vote on the issue of Catalan independence.Among those who visited the ballot box was FC Barcelona defender Gerard Pique. He has subsequently played for his club in a match held behind closed doors, breaking down in tears while speaking to the press afterwards.Whatever your views on Catalan independence, whichever way you lean politically in general, what happened in this city - what is still to happen in Catalunya - is too important an issue for me to ignore. I give my opinions in this special episode of The Big Inside View.Enjoy!
