Well, the Big 12 has a lot to be proud of heading into the 2019 season,

but my goodness gracious, they should really be thumping their chest about the non-conference

schedule.

have you on board each and every week. So I was doing what I typically like to do this time of year,

which is look at the Big 12 schedule. What weeks are soft? What weeks do I have weddings that I hope

don't interfere with massive Big 12 weekends.

You know, you can't control that stuff, but such is life.

I like to go down the list anyway.

And I was looking at the Big 12 non-conference schedule.

Then I crunch the numbers.

The Big 12 is in great shape from a non-conference perspective as 33% of the Big 12 games are against Power 5 opponents.

That is second best from the Power 5 behind only the ACC, which has 36% of its non-conference

games against Power 5 opponents.
