So all it's been for a long time now and all of the sports world it seems like is doom and gloom.

But you know what?

As we get ready for a big 12 season that is certainly going to look different.

I've got another reason to be very optimistic.

This could be the most exciting Big 12 season in years.

Now, there's obvious reasons why that could be the case, right?

Just a conference slate with one non-conference game.

What's it going to look like with the college football playoff?

I mean, there's so many factors here that we don't even know yet, but we know it's going to be different and it's going to be fascinating, right, for all conferences across the entire

sport.

But then you look at the Big 12 and you said to yourself, okay, I don't know, you know, how

things are going to shake out with the playoff, but I do know this.

If you just talk about these teams and the fact that this conference, top to bottom,

is as deep and arguably as close as it gets anywhere, anywhere in college football,

boy, this can be an exciting fall.

So let's look at this from the optimistic perspective.

seven and two could very well win you the Big 12 conference
