because Joe Biden in his interview with George Stephanopoulos, which followed a few hours

after George Stephanopoulos's interview yesterday morning with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro

Mayorkas, Mayorkas said to people who are crossing the border illegally, don't come now. We

don't have our system up yet. Come later. Really, this is not the right time to come, but later

we'll have a great system and then you can swarm the border illegally. And Biden apparently

felt the need to correct Mayorkas's statement because he said, and I quote, where is this?

Well, first Stephanopoulos like fed him the question, do you have to say quite clearly don't come?

Hey Mr. President, can you please correct the mistake that you're that you're aid made in a way

that will help you? Said George Stephanopoulos. And here is what Biden said, yes, I can quite say

quite clearly don't come over. Don't leave your town or city or community. So that was a nice

throwing a nice lob right? It was soft, oh, right down the middle. Mr. President, let me tell you

what to say to correct to get you out of a little bit of a jam here. And he continued Biden by

saying, well, first of all, there was a surge in the last two years in 1920. There was a surge as

well. And Stephanopoulos said, now this one might be worse and Biden acknowledged, well, it could be.

And then here's what Biden said, the idea that Joe Biden said come because I heard the other day

they're coming because they know I'm a nice guy. Here's the deal. They're not, he said.
