week that he performed an abortion in defiance of the state's new ban is now being sued as expected, but not as expected.

Anti-abortion forces in Texas are coming out against the lawsuits.

Infrastructure Week is stretching into the weekend today, and the fate of President Biden's entire economic agenda faces a rocky road ahead. This afternoon, the House Budget Committee

is set to begin the markup process of the Democrats'

three and a half trillion dollar social spending plan that includes expanded safety net

programs, clean energy incentives, tax breaks for families, and many more party priorities.

Democrats have put negotiations over that bill on the fast track because they're trying to

passed the Senate. Progressives in the House, however, are threatening to tank that vote unless

the larger $3.5 trillion package is passed in tandem. Now, this may have seemed like a tough week
