Acts chapter 2

Acts chapter 2 and while you're turning there I want to welcome those of you who are

gathering with us at Loudoun and Prince William and Montgomery County. Today is a

really good day at McLean Bible Church in the sense that here

at the Tyson's campus, Dale mentioned after worship gatherings this morning, just to think this church body with the joy of baptizing 50 new brothers and sisters in Christ

all wearing t-shirts like this, celebrating, going from death to life in Christ.

And not just here, but Prince William, baptizing today too, so it's going to to be awesome and it's a great picture of what we're seeing in the book of acts

you know as I was praying this morning what we see

acts 247 says the Lord was adding daily to their number those who were being saved and I just found myself praying, Lord may that be so at McLean, just add daily those who are being saved and it really leads into the

text we're going to look at today we're actually going to be in acts 20

but I've got you in acts 2 at the very beginning here because, well, let me set the stage.

Last week at this time, I was on the exact opposite side of the world.
