time. I am so excited. It's been, I've been waiting with baited breath. This is, this is my whole,

Before we get started, I want to congratulate Latifah, who had a bit of a victory last night. Can you tell us about your big night?

My big night. So on the ballot for D.C., my first time ever, I was just elected committee woman for the D.C. State Democratic Party. And it was great. 22,000 votes. And for me, individually, is very exciting. And it was awesome. So I'm an elected person as of this morning.

Well, I have to be sworn in or something, I'm sure.

But it's good times, good times.

As far as the Wives is concerned, you are already an elected official.

We have the extra level of respect for you already.

I think that's the one really interesting thing that happened in the D.C. primary last night. So we're happy to have you on the podcast. So today we're going to be talking
