Last month we did our very first show on the road. We went to Oakland and I interviewed

the wonderful Roman Mars live on stage. Roman's a friend of mine. We met in Chicago 10 years

ago when we were both working for WBEZ. Roman hosts a great podcast about design and architecture

called 99% Invisible. He's also the father of eight-year-old twin boys. Each week, Roman gets

them to talk about something they're into as part of an ad at the end of his show. Here's one.

I'm Hillary Frank. There's something about having a microphone where you kind of get to ask people

things that you wouldn't ask them in real life or that you just didn't. And so I get a chance

tonight to ask Roman some questions that I've never asked him in real life. So welcome, Roman.

You have twin boys. How old are they and what are their names?

They are eight years old. They are Maslow Rocket Mars and Carver Atomic Mars.
