I'm your host Chris Broad and this week I've given Pete Donaldson the full week off.

I'm a little bit of a break so well done Pete, I don't know what you're doing this week but I look forward to catching up with you next week.

And I'm saying it as though he's listening, he's definitely not.

But I'm in Tokyo at the moment guys, having just got back from journey across Japan 3, making my way slowly but surely back up to Tahokia.

The last few days of interview to a few people we had Joey on, we had Doge in Q-Shoe and this week I thought it'd be my good friend Alex Shapiro.

How you doing Alex?

I'm doing alright.

Now for those of you who don't know Alex, he was in a video I made last year called What a $20,000 a month apartment in Tokyo looks like right?

That is right.

I've already forgot something like that.

So Alex I made a video last year and it did pretty well, I think 2 million people have watched it now.

And it was a lot of fun, I've always wanted to look at kind of luxury apartments in Tokyo and get Pete behind and see what life is like on the other side of the fence and turn out very expensive.

Yes.

Interestingly a lot of people didn't like the apartment we looked at which we'll get on to in a little bit.

But it was a fun video to make and Alex is so knowledgeable in the world of apartments and real estate and it's fascinating just talking to him.

So we're going to be talking about the best places to live in Tokyo, the worst places to live in Tokyo.

Alex's experience is on the jet program living in Q-Shoe quite like Doge in the last week's episode.

And also hearing about why as a foreign resident living in Japan or foreign or coming to Japan it can be quite difficult to get an apartment.

It's not a nice subject but one we have to tackle because one that might affect a lot of you guys that are moving to Japan.
