What's up 4-4? This is the DFS MVP podcast for week 14. Just a regular a week in the DFS space.

We're, of course, going to go through it. We've got six teams on by, so sort of a shorter slate,

but a massively important week for season-long leagues, best ball leagues, basically every other

format of fantasy football. So it should be a fun one.

So far, we've had just one game. We had the Packers and the Lions last night. How did things go for you guys last night? I'm, of course, here with Davis-Matic and Packerrain, as usual, on the social. They're at Davis-Matic and at Packerrain. I'm at Player Q, DFS. How do you guys feel about how things went in the Hackers' Lions game last night?

Davis, did I not see a tweet from you saying that you were flag planting Josh Jacobs yesterday?

Yeah, I didn't get rich, rich though because Tim Patrick was the optimal. Oh, yeah. So, uh, the optimal captain. I had the, I had the winning lineup, but, you know, duped a billion times. Uh, the winning lineup with Josh Jacobs and Tim Patrick flipped. So yeah. Yeah. And I'm never going to have that. I don't play cheap captains really. I don't usually either. I weed those out on my pool because this is kind of neither here nor there. But those are actually some of the worst lineups in the field because they get duped so heavily. Because what happens is is Everett plays the same chief captain. And then they play the five most expensive guys after that. They're're they're they're really bad i always say like if you're going to use the cheap captain you need to leave some salary on the table because of that reason because everybody just does the exact same lineup when they do it what about for for best ball i mean yeah josh jacobs killed me i have five total shares in best ball mania and none of them are like within 70 points one one way or the other one of them is advancing so that didn't help me jaden reed i guess that helped me like i don't have much jane reed but like i don't think anything helped me like nothing was like yeah i would have taken a dontavian wicks touchdown i would have also taken i would have been nice yeah i i uh I had a couple teams I was eyeing and one of them

kind of needed a quiet game from Jared Goff because I'm fighting to get in versus Jared Goff guy.

And one of them had Jared Goff. So it's kind of ended up in this middle situation where I was like,

yeah, we lived to the fight another day. I'm not sure. And you kind of got what you wanted for it. He scored 23 fantasy points, so it's like not bad, but like doesn't kill you either. Exactly. Like you could probably get like, so I don't know. We'll see. I don't know the damage. It might have been a really good for my best ball stuff, but might not have mattered or it might be bad.

Karin, you know the league that I'm sweating is this, the dynasty league that you and I are in.

The best ball dynasty league, the one where I, uh, you out tanked me after. Right. Or where I, where I out tanked you. uh where i have i have david montgomery and

jared goff in in that league i mean i'm i'm like legitimately 300 points ahead of everyone

but we are we are about to the sprint now so i it's uh it's sweating season all right fun so wait

so you're not tanking.
