And another year is almost coming to an end, which means now is the perfect time to sit back, relax, and reflect on some of the best stuff that came out this year. We've already talked about our favorite books and podcasts. And today we are getting into TV, and I am very excited to introduce our guests for this one. With us is Ingu Kang,

Okay, so before we get to our picks, I would love to know a little bit about how you are both sort of thinking of criteria for best shows of the year.

Angu, what do you think?

Oh.

I mean, I think the standard, like, really boring critic rule of thumb is you have to judge a TV show based on what it's going for, right?

But I think with a top 10 end of the year list, I really tried to look for the shows that have, both stayed with me you know during the very very

many months of every year and also the ones that I feel like we're trying to do something new

sort of like push the medium a little bit and I think there's going to be a lot of talk in

the near future about if those kinds of shows are going to go away.

And honestly, if they do, then I don't know, like I'm really happy to be celebrating the shows that are pushing the boundaries a little bit right now.

Do you mean in terms of kind of just the future of, for example, streaming in general and what

networks are willing to put money behind?
