fluorescence. So this is for people who are looking to start seedlings. This is for

people who are having an indoor garden. Maybe that's herbs, maybe that's vegetables, some leafy greens, things like that that don't require

an absolute abundance of a light, but do require more than a typical window sill will give you.

T5 grow lights and the first thing we're going to answer is of course what are they right so

T5 what does that actually mean? T5 is a bulb that is 5 8th inch in diameter and there's some of the most

efficient fluorescent bulbs you're going to find on the market. There are T8 and T12 bulbs, but those have really fallen out of favor. They're not very efficient.

And T-5s just simply are the way to go when it comes to fluorescence at least. Now there's many other types of light but we're talking

about fluorescence in today's episode. So what are the benefits? They're quite

efficient when compared to other types of indoor lighting like a high

pressure sodium, a metal halide, or a plasma light or a ceramic metal halide,
