Hello everyone welcome back to the show I can't resist I have to do this

episode and I might even be a little late on this trend, but I have to do it.

And it is growing your own toilet paper.

Don't ask me why the first thing everyone goes and buys at the store in this crisis is a big old roll of

toilet paper or in fact many rolls of toilet paper but it seems to be what's

happening if you ask me you should be buying seeds and you should be

buying dried and prepared foods and canned goods but hey that's just me I'm a gardener

of course I think about food and water before I think about toilet paper.

So let's say we never had toilet paper again.

It just was vanished off the face of the earth

and we were forced to grow something

to use as toilet paper. What would you grow? Well, the first one and probably the best

one would be Mullen which is Verbascom Thapsis. Kind of a funny Latin name, isn't it?

It's also known as cowboy toilet paper plant,

which should give you an idea of why it's a good choice.

It's generally deemed to be safe, but it also has a decent amount of natural

healing properties, which I'm not going to get into in this podcast, but effectively

Mullen grows as a weed.

Well, most of us treated as a weed,

but in times like these, hey, you never know, right?

And Mullin is extremely, extremely soft.

On top of that, it does not have any poisonous look-alikes because I don't know about you if there's a place that I don't want
