| 0:00.0 | If you found this video and you're in a fantasy football league, you made the right decision |
| 0:03.8 | clicking on it because today we were breaking down the best pick in every round of your fantasy draft. These are the picks that are going to help win you your league. And if you're not familiar, I'm Salvatri. I've helped over 10,000 people win their league the last few years alone. And I plan to do the same for you with this video. Now, let's start right away in round one. This is ADP. This is a list of ADP, courtesy of |
| 0:21.0 | fantasy pros, average draft position, and I want to single out Justin Jefferson. Now, of course, in round one, it would be easy to say, oh, Bijon Robinson or Jami or Gibbs or Jumar or Chasing, they're the best pick in fantasy drafts. Let's be real here. If I say Beijon Robinson, who's going to be the number one or number two pick in almost every fantasy draft. |
| 0:36.7 | Most of you, the far majority of you, 80 to 90% of you, won't even have a chance to draft it. |
| 0:40.7 | So instead I'm going to be the number one or number two pick in almost every fantasy draft. Most of you, the far majority of you, 80 to 90% of you, won't even have a chance to draft him. So instead I'm going to pick a player that realistically most people will be able to draft and I think is actually the best overall value in a round one of drafts. And that is Justin Jefferson. Justin Jefferson, who as you know is coming off of arguably probably is the worst year, the worst healthy year of his NFL career, still went for 1,000 yards, still earned 141 targets, right? I mean, this guy was going out there with terrible quarterback play and putting up, once again, an elite level, anything above 27 to 30%, which he did last year, target share, is elite. He did that. Top 10 in the NFL once again. His problem was |
| 1:11.2 | J.J. McCarthy didn't pan out. Carson Wentz was okay for a couple of weeks. The only 100-yard game Justin Jefferson had last year was with Carson Wentz, but then he had surgery. Max Brosner, terrible, right? This was a bad situation for Jefferson. I mean, you can see that right here on the road of his game splits tools. In the final six games of Jefferson season, and I'm not counting week 18 where they forced fed him to get him to a thousand yards but those six |
| 1:29.8 | games before that just 6.6 fantasy points per game. It was torture, six targets per game, 33 receiving yards per game. As somebody who had Justin Jefferson in a league, you couldn't bench Justin Jefferson, like, who else did you have at that point, especially with crazy biweeks? And he was going out there and getting your six points a game. |
| 1:44.9 | It was brutal. |
| 1:45.6 | But it shouldn't be that way this year. |
| 1:47.1 | It doesn't have to be that way, everybody. Let's hold hands come together because we have the savior in Kyler Murray. Obviously, I'm kidding. But honestly, Kyler Murray is actually a big upgrade from last year. You might not like Kyler Murray. You might think he's too short. |
| 1:58.3 | You might think he's not accurate. |
| 1:59.5 | You might think he runs around too much. |
| 2:00.9 | All those things are probably true. |
| 2:02.4 | However, this dude is a massive upgrade from the quarterback situation that Justin Jefferson had last year. Look, he was hurt last season, but if we look at, and also he got bench because of like contract reasons, they didn't want him to get hurt for potential trade value. But the year before that, 2024, 17 games, where I would argue he didn't even play that great. |
| 2:17.7 | He still completed nearly 70% of his passes. He had over 3,800 passing yards, right? He threw 541 times. I think that Kyla Murray in a Kevin O'Connell offense, which every single quarterback not named J.J. McCart, the Max Brosner, they might not be good, has done well in a Kevin O'Connell offense. I think Kyler will be fine. I don't think it'll be a top five quarterback in real life, |
| 2:35.4 | but if he's top 20, that's good enough for Justin Jefferson. |
| 2:37.7 | Also worth noting that Jefferson's target competition is basically the same. Like, you subtract out, you subtract out of Jalen Ehler for Joanne Jennings, and it's basically the same. T.J. Hockinson, who's getting older, Jordan Addison, who still hasn't broken out because he's playing next to Justin Jefferson, but he's a fine number two. I'm not concerned about Jefferson. I'm expecting another 150 targets or so for Justin Jefferson this year. Like the only downside, in my opinion, outside of injury, which is, of course, the case for every player in the NFL, would be if Kyle Murray just flat out stinks and he's falling apart. Now let's move to round two. And I want to single out, Honestly, in this range, round two is loaded, especially late round two, but like if you wanted to say Amarian Hampton was your favorite guy, Kenneth Walker, go to the wider cedar position with Drake London, I wouldn't tell you that you're wrong. These are all very strong picks. Round two, in my opinion this year is loaded. Even if you start to go up a little bit more, there's the Brock Bowers names. There's a big discount on Saquan Barkley who went in the early first round last year, right? |
| 3:25.0 | So I'm not going to discount. |
| 3:25.9 | I'm not going to say that you made a terrible pick on any of these guys. |
| 3:28.4 | I think they're all really solid. This is like the only round, in my opinion, where everything looks really good is round two. But I'm going to single out Chase Brown. First off, he's going in late round two. He provides you some nice value. |
| 3:38.0 | And this is a guy in Chase Brown |
| 3:39.0 | who's coming off of a year |
