This is Jamie, and I'm here to be your guide as we dig deep into the archives and pick

out some of the weirdest and wildest segments of the past and present them to you in

the Best of the Secret Kabal.

So let's get the party started by going all the way back to episode 90.

This was released on June 17th of 2015.

Now I got to warn you, Kabbalist, going back in time and listening to these old episodes,

you can hear the growing pains.

We weren't very good podcasters.

Our sound quality wasn't very good. And it changes

as we advance through the years in these different segments that I'm going to present for you today.

In episode 90, we do an origins recap about all the crazy stuff that went on at the convention

that year. And this is the specific year when we almost got kicked out of originsins. John Ward, the head of Gamma, the Game Manufacturers Association, tried to kick us out of the convention because of our meetup shenanigans.

And also take note, this is long before Don ever joined the cast. And we actually talk about him. He went to Origins with us that year, and he's in the story. So here we go. We're going all the way back to episode 90 in 2015. Let's do it. So we're finally back from Origins. Finally is kind of a weird way to put it, because it was over much faster than I wanted it to be. It was. It was ridiculous. Blink of an eye, it's gone. I know. I have to wait a year again. You know, that's the, the, the, the origins is the greatest and the worst thing that ever happened to me because it's the one thing that I look forward to every single year more than anything else, but it's also one of the worst times I ever had when I have to like get back in the car on Sunday and drive home. I feel like sick in the stomach doing that. You know what's worse is when you have a daughter because you get pictures of your daughter and you're like, oh, I really want to spend time with her. I want to do that. I wish she was here. I could go buy her stuff. And then you realize, but I want a game and I can't game. She's here. and if I leave to go see her then I'm done gaming it sucks. Here's your problem. You need to disconnect. I just need to stop caring about my daughter. Stop carrying your phone around. I got a dumb dumb phone. I can't see any pictures. I can barely see numbers on that thing. I start having problems if I don't hear about my daughter for

more than a day. I could talk to you about her. All right. But no, I do love her. Yeah, yeah. She just needs

to leave you alone. Hey, I suffered buying my little pony stuff for her, so I don't even hear about it.

Last Wednesday, we all met at 7.30 in the morning. We piled into cars, loaded up all of our gear.
