Last night, Golden State took down the Mavericks, so that's six NBA finals in the last eight years.

And Golden State has great players.

But they also have a great front office.

As we talked about yesterday, there's a lot of homegrown talent here.

Keep in mind, back in 2020, the Warriors had the worst record in the NBA.

You had Steph Curry and Clay Thompson injured, still learning to play without Kevin Durant.

But the front office continued to make moves in order to put them in this

position. They signed and then traded DeAngelo Russell for Andrew Wiggins in a first round pick.

Wiggins has turned into a solid contributor. Then they use that pick on a promising forward

Jonathan Cominga. Then there's Jordan Poole. Warriors selected the Michigan Guard in 2019,

and he's averaging just over 18 points per game in the postseason. And he's become an

integral part of the warrior's success. You need players to win championships, but you also need a

very good front office. And that front office for Golden State deserves a victory lap.

So does the Boston Celtics front office?

Remember, you had Brad Stevens who said, I'm not going to coach anymore.

And I went, wait, he's not coaching it.

He wants to go into the front office.

He's going to replace Danny Aange.

And I went, he's too young to be going into the front office after coaching.

They have homegrown talent as well.
