So I was 18 senior year of high school. First period went out in a conference rivalry

and blocked a slap shot from about probably four feet away. Took it right in the giblets,

so you can add that one to a list.

And shattered my cup in about seven spots.

Retracted my right testicle up into my stomach.

Went in at intermission, or in between periods.

Sat with like 10 pounds of ice on my nuts.

Went back out, finished the game.

Went to the ER after the game was done to make sure that nothing was ruptured or any

problems.

And the ER doc, bear in mind, my age, my parents are with me too, right?

My mom and dad, and the doctor's like, yeah, I think everything's fine. You got good blood flow, nothing looks ruptured or destroyed. yeah, you know, I think everything's fine.
