College football rankings came out.

No real surprises there.

It all plays out.

Every year we're like, oh my gosh, if that happens and that happens and that, it just all

seems to fit.

It feels like it's a Rubik's Cube where you go, I don't know what I'm doing.

I keep twisting and turning, and then all of a sudden it matches up.

It's really rare now.

And you get 12 teams in.

Notre Dame has to beat Pitt.

And then once they do that, they'll be in the playoffs

because they have Stanford and they have Syracuse. Stanford, they're kind of inish,

and maybe they could afford another loss here. Ohio State, Indiana with the showdown,

perhaps both will be undefeated when they meet and then where they are positioned.

You know, I look back at Oregon.

Like Oregon was number one in the country, but their draw in that 12-team playoff was just not fair.

And somebody's going to be matched up with somebody first round where you're going to go,

wow, that's the prize.

That's what you get for being a number one seed, and it might happen again this year.

But still, as they like to say, there's a lot of football left to be played.
