Coach, congratulations.

Where are your Coach of the Year awards?

You know, one was on my daughter's bedstand for a minute she

liked it and that one i think is somewhere in storage and then the other one i gave to my cousin

steve because the night of that award i don't know if you remember this but i wasn't there but

the person that announced the award said Steve

Stefansky. So my cousin Steve, who I'm very close with, he has that somewhere in his

home office. Does it say Steve Stefansky on it? No, the award itself has my name on there,

but never miss an opportunity to have a joke like that.

What do those awards mean to you?

You know, it means a lot to me because that's such your, those individual awards are such a reflection of the collective.

And I think about those, you know, one of them was from year one for us in Cleveland in 2020 when went to the

playoffs, won a playoff game, and just that team and those coaches and how we battled. That

was the COVID year and everybody knows how unique all of that was. And then the one from 23

was a great reflection on an amazing group of guys that fought and scratched and clawed our way to

the playoffs behind unbelievable defense, behind multiple quarterbacks. And that's a credit to the

coaching staff. I know the award says my name, but man, that's an award that goes to coaching staff.

How do you know you're wired to be a head coach? Great. I don't know. Good question. I don't, it's funny, I didn't set out to have this job.
