Whenever we talk about the success of the Kansas City Chiefs,

we normally start with Patrick Mahomes.

But he's not the only longtime chief who deserves credit for this success

because Andy Reid has been an elite coach for a long time.

He had a lot of success in Philadelphia, five NFC title game appearances, and then success

with the Kansas City Chiefs. They lose Tyree Kill in the offseason, no big deal. And you did

have analysts who said they're going to be more dangerous.

I thought they were going to be different.

I didn't know how they could be more dangerous when you don't have the fastest player in the NFL.

But you do have Patrick Mahomes.

But Andy Reid in that partnership, Eric Bienami, their offensive coordinator, feels like there's no arguing on the sidelines this week.

After what happened last week, they got everything back to normal and picked up the win.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers rushed for three yards last night.

The Kansas City almost ran for 200 yards last night.

So that balance was the big difference here.

And Tampa's defense, which when it shows up is awesome, did not show up last night.
