It has long been an axiom of mine that the little things are infinitely the most important things.

What are you most looking forward to this season of summer?

To stir some opening conversations in our virtual meetings over the past several weeks,

I've been asking this question of our online audiences, what are you most looking forward to this season of summer?

Responses include travel to Europe, beach vacations, time away from work, hopefully no one on my team, weekends at the

lake and kids back home from college. One person even shared that she is celebrating her parents

70th wedding anniversary. These are big moments. They are certainly worthy of celebrating indeed.

And yet, think back on your most meaningful memories as a kid during the summer.

What are the memories that dance into living color for you?

I remember, personally, lazy mornings eating Raisin brand with my dad before he went to work,

before racing outside to play a little bit of wiffle ball.

I remember bike rides with my friends and popsicles on the front steps.

I recall the euphoric excitement of being invited to a friend's house with the pool.

And then afterwards, the immense chill of entering the house when the AC made contact with my wet suit.

Who can forget that experience?
