update, that Embed's now a game time decision. And AJ, you were watching some television, and they were talking

hours and hours ago as if this was a foregone conclusion that he was going to play.

As soon as it was announced that Joelle and Bede went from out to doubtful, you hear

guys like Kendrick Perkins and Max Kellerman talking about it, like it was already

official.

Like, oh, he's going to be huge for the Sixers coming back for game three.

It's not only big for the Sixers.

It's really big for James Harden, take some pressure off him.

So that word doubtful, which to me always meant like really unlikely, they took it as almost a lock that he is playing.

Which tells me, and this is speculation, but that tells me that this is a known secret within the connected NBA people that this was all a ruse and that Embed was playing anyway.

And I understand if that's the case with the rationale is, and I'll break it down in a second.

But why else, why wouldn't this story be, oh my gosh, he went from out to possibly playing?
