I think that obviously this is a team that

struggled in the first round, even, you could say, and they played very competitive in game one,

one in game two, played aggressive. It seemed to take the fight toan State. So it feels like to me it's the

emergence of a team. It's an emergence of a player.

The Grizzlies even up the series at one apiece

winning outright as two point dogs over the Warriors. Jah Morant

47 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists

in the win.

So in our notes before the show, you said Morant becomes a superstar.

You know, we talked about it maybe a couple weeks ago when we were talking about Jason Tatum kind of emerging.

And we were talking about the best players under 25.

And I don't think anyone

here mentioned John Morant and what he's done in these playoffs kind of brings to light what he

did in the regular season. This Grizzlies team wasn't even supposed to be a playoff team.

They're the second seed in the Western Conference. John Morant is, you know, there is depth on this team, but John Morant is by far the driving force of this team.
